The Tournament of Champions

Yes that's right guys, we are going to give this tournament another shot. Especially with the recent outburst of activity that has come out of prOxiteam.net, it's time we give a shot to everyone to see where they stand in the clan regarding skills. It's time to prove yourself. Polish your mouses, clean your keyboards, make love to your computers, for in a couple weeks, we compete. The Tournament of Champions beckons your Starcraft 2 skills to see who is weak, who is mortal, and who will live forever as a proxiteam legend.

So please sign up if you wish to participate, all prOxi members are welcome, and i'm pretty sure Dwain won't mind if non-prOxi members join in as well. As a matter of fact, I talked to Dwain a few nights ago and he will be reviewing/observing the games and basically scouting players to recruit into the clan, so if your on the applicant list, practice hard! Dwain will be looking :). The tournament setup, the brackets, and the rest of the information will be 3-4 days before the tournament starts. I will at least let you guys know that this will be a round robin tournament. So players will be randomly seeded into a group and you will player every player in your group(they will be groups of 4, bo1 for each game). Further details on how the round robin setup works later.

Start practicing guys. Winner gets some prOxiteam love, featured in a showcast by either me and QUITE POSSIBLY maar(yeah thats right maar, im volunterring you), and one night with Jarc and maareeks mom AT THE SAME TIME.

So we have got a few requests, atleast ENOUGH requests, to do this 1 week earlier. I'm thinking about doing this tournament twice; one a week before and the other tournament right now. So in essence, we are still doing this tournament, we will just be doing another one a week before to give a chance for those people who can't make it a chance to get some tournament. If you agree with this, update your post or make a new one, don't matter, just let me know if you like this idea.

We should push it forward a week to the 29th of January, we shouldn't be a clan that needs to give its members two weeks notice of an event. Plus, this means we can hold another one on Feb 5th if all goes well.

Unfortunately will be highly unlikely to be able to participate on the 5th. Busiest time at work for me all year (will be in the office zzz and australia day so unaustralian).
