Well, Episode 34 was so much fun that bobo and I were down for some more dual commentary goodness and, as luck would have it, FighT was playing a notable opponent while we were casting. The game was pretty good and FighT was gracious enough to send us this replay of our Terran hero pitting his skills against one of the meanest Protoss players in North America, EGIncontroL. I just drooled a little.

Feedback, as always is welcomed. Here, I'll start: bobo, you should try to be less awesome when you cast. It's not fair!

If the embedded player gives you troubles, you can check out the direct link to the vid here. Thanks for watching! <3

those immortals are actually easily dealt with as long as I have 1-2 ghosts around to EMP them, otherwise it's game over.

It's really not that amazing, dwain. although it's certainly not a cheapo. Cost me just a few bucks over $1000 when I put it together last summer. I posted about my building experience on tl when I finished it, but here's the short parts list.

Processor: i5-750 overclocked to 3.2Ghz, hits 3.8Ghz in single threaded apps
RAM: 4GB 1600Mhz G.Skill Eco Series
Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon 5770
PSU: Seasonic 520W 80 Plus Bronze
Hard Drive: 1TB Samsung Spinpoint F3
Case: Antec 902

Nothing crazy, and would be even cheaper to build now, but easily maxes out SC2 at my monitor's resolution (1680x1050) and honestly I could probably stream with it or at least stand to record in higher than medium quality if my ISP's upload speed wasn't so anemic. ~300KB or so. For reference, this GotW was about 450 MB and it took between 3 and 4 hours to upload (that's based on blip's guesswork, I just set the thing to upload and went to work). Fortunately, SC2 looks quite nice at medium settings.

Ah, I run at 1920x1200 which requires me to turn a few effects off. Definitely been planning to upgrade my mobo and cpu at least so I was just curious what you went with.

Cheers

i just ordered a athlon 2 640 quadcore yesterday and a new psu. i feel like i shouldve just spent the extra like 40 bucks for a phenom 2 instead but oh well.. it should be arriving mid next week! cant wait since now i have a cheap sempron struggling to run sc2 at 1080p on medium setting :/

my video card is a 4670 and i have only 2gb of ram... i should prob get 2 or even 4gb more since i have 64bit OS. i def want to get a 6850 soon as well to play battlefield 3 when it comes out! :D
