Yeah there are rumours there is no way HuK will join EG it just doesn't make any sense. Its probs just a showmatch or a new masters cup announcement

I actually think it would make sense if HuK joined EG. It is definitely starting to become a lot more appealing to play StarCraft competitively in America as opposed to S.Korea now, and EG with their new gaming house would be a great opportunity for HuK to come to America without losing too much valuable practice time trying to figure out a new practice environment.

Still, HuK is getting waaaaaay better practice playing in Korea. And he has made some sick friends from oGs according to his twitter.
I pwn n00bz, and pros too.

If he joins EG. There are a lot of better players than Liquid has. Which gives Huk a whole lot of better opponents to practice on.

He practises in a korean team house with oGs. You really can't get any better than that in terms of better practise partners.

^ This.

But I still fail to see how EG has better players than TL anyway..... They have Idra and that is deadset all they have.

It still is possible. EGIdra has played in Korea in the pro league and EG members must've played vs him atleast 10 times after he went back. They probably know alot of things that others don't. And Huk won the DreamHack invitational so it's most likely that EG will accept him.

Im not sure if you're trolling or you have the most retarded flow of logic I've ever seen.
But either way, I suggest you stop talking ;)

To clarify, I didn't mean to give the impression that HuK would have better quality practice opportunities in America. Simply that there are better events at the moment in America which he is in a position to take prizes from, and going straight to the EG team house would be a smooth transition if that's what he wanted to do.

Waaaaaah Prohan why so mean? And a slow flow of logic isnt that bad =D
I wouldn't be suprised if Huk joins EG even if for no other reason then that he might get more sponsorship/money

Theres a new theory on TL based on some rough evidance that it will be a whitera vs idra showmatch

There's also a SS indicating of EG.Nestea on pages 453-455 or pages around there. Might Also be a EG+IM merge like TL and oGs. Guess we will see in 8 hrs and 30 min. There Is a very good chance that this is also the biggest over hyping announcement in eSports history and that's it's merely nothing close to the guesses people are giving.

What ive been told is EG said to Huk how much you would join us for, huk replied a 6 figure salary and team EG replied okay.. So if he is to join hes going to be on a 6 figure salary :O :O

Which is fucking nutsssssssssssssssss

Well then.... Don't we all feel dumb....

The wait is finally over. After several days of hype and an I Love Bees style ARG, Evil Geniuses has revealed their big news.

Evil Geniuses has acquired Chris "HuK" Loranger from Team Liquid. This highly controversial move was widely rumored to be the case, but EG isn't done there.

In addition to this bombshell of an announcement, EG is also sending Greg "IdrA" Fields back to Korea. Both of these players and perhaps more will live in a brand new EG training house in Korea.

So whose shocked? I find it hilarious that all the guys on TL forums trolling each other saying it isn't about Huk are all wrong and that we sorta knew this all along. Any thoughts?

My thoughts, I quit the internet. I am completely boycotting everything to do with EG and HuK. Fuck them both, fucking sell outs and they LITERALLY kill eSports.

hes just gotten heaps better and joined a company that can pay him more, same as any other sport, prolly good for esports really. he was finishing his contract anyway. i like that idra is going back to korea, i miss him playing in gsl. i think huk may have some problems without his ogs practice partners, and i have no idea how idra and huk could practice together...
