KOTH result! Ok, KOTH's finished and i'll upload replays later. I won 4-1.
1st game: RvR @ Blue Storm, I ended up getting Terran and Logan got Zerg. I wanted to end it quickly since I thougt Logan was the superior player. So I went for a proxy fac which was kind off succesful. Logan went for Mutas which I tried to counter with Valks. Due to a zergling attack I lost many scv's and in the end I got outmacroed.= Gorilla Wins.
2nd game: RvR @ Blue Storm, I got P Logan got T, nothing much to say really, what would u do against Logans main? Answer: prOxi Gates. =Nyu wins.
3rd game:RvR @ Andromeda, I got Zerg and Logan got toss, I went for a overpool speed build and I wanted to break his cannon line since he was greedy and made just 2 cannons with a poor probe block. I kill his Nat and transist over to macro mode. Logan gives up after his all in attack fails. = Nyu wins.
4th game @ Colosseum: Logan picks T i'm going with Random, but end up getting Zerg. This was probably the most straight up game in the whole serious, I go overpool speed again and Logan goes for some kind off 2 Rax MnM build. Once he moves out I backstabb him from behind and I pick off some valuable buildings, academy, supplys etc. Then I just sunken up and Logan attacks my sunkens and then he leaves. = Nyu wins
5th Game: Logan forfeits, and logs off. GG's [Submitted by OttomanEmpire]prOxi.HydrogueonMonday 29 September 2008 - 07:44:29 Read/Post Comment: 5

Jason joins prOxi. Jason AKA. X-LoSt, prOxi.LoSt has decided to rejoin prOxi. Welcome back! I think he'll be a good addition and an active forum poster ^_^. Once again welcome back Jason! He will be using prOxi.Lost @ US.West!
Once again, I decided to recruit a member without trial, but in my opinion there are cases where trials arent needed. In my opinion trials are just to let the potential member prove himself that his worthy and I think LoSt is pretty known and he has friends in prOxi. so it's not really necessary to do any trial time.

prOxi Nation Wars Begin! British, Canadian, American and Australian prOxi. members get ready to have fun and determine which prOxi. nation sports the strongest players.
The way that it works is simple, every country plays every other country in 3 bo3 matches. You can play your matches in any order. Against any player that has not played a match vs your country. That means no brackets, first come first serve.
The winner will be the team that wins the most nation wars, in the event of a tie having the most individual bo3s won will determine the winner, in the event of another tie we'll decide things with a single bo1 ace match. If one player is totally inactive and needs to be subbed for another player, that's fine just make a post informing me of the substitution.
The first game will be played on Othello, the second game on Longinus and in the event of a tie a third deciding game will be played on Python. All replays must be saved for writeup purposes and the very best games will be made into commentated vods.

prOxi. Triumphs over SouL Today we played a friendly best of 6 games clanwar with no less than soul.
We had a great turn out and our players delivered some clutch results.
prOxi.Wings 2-1 soul)(dragon prOxi.One 0-2 soul)(koyoye prOxi.Thanatos 2-0 soul)r(ruhe prOxi.Pink 2-1 soul)t(hawk prOxi.Nyu 2-1 soul)(ujena
prOxi.Pink + prOxi.Magic 0-2 soul)r(ruhe + soul)(patrol
Great work everyone, and even better was having 8 prOxi's in the channel after the war, a number of soul players and a few fans such as the new tc-b leader.
Everyone was very well mannered and it was alot of fun, hopefully there's plenty more to come. [Submitted by prOxi.Thanatos]
KOTH Report - Beater vs Pink
Welcome back everybody. It's taken awhile, but finally I have the time to sit down and reflect on the matches taken place between our hilltop king Beater and his challenger Pink. Most of the games were very quick all-ins, but were nevertheless quite entertaining. For example, game one was very quick as Beater hung on tooth and nail to successfully defend against an intense probe/zealot/cannon rush brought by a keen protoss in Pink, producing some desperate micro and back-and-forth struggles. Ultimately Pink had poured too many resources into his rush and was overrun by Beater's bounce back. Game two involved both Beater and Pink opting for the same fast nexus strategy, but it was after a severe waste by Beater and a superior tech choice by Pink that lead to Beater's demise in the second game. Game three was probably the least enjoyable of the whole series, with Beater's 9pool arriving just a second short of Pink's cannon, securing a fast win for beater in the third game. Game four was quite impressive PvP work from Beater. After trying to kill some of Pink's probes with a couple zealots early on only to kill two or three probes, he still managed to expand, out tech AND out macro Pink after having done little damage and losing his harrassment zealots. Game five involved something incredibly cute from Pink. Maybe because being down 1-3 he felt it was necessary to keep himself in the competition, but whatever it was, it drove Pink to perform a hilarious zealot/mass probe rush. I can't remember exactly but I suspect he brought every probe, maybe except for a couple. It was very funny seeing one zealot and his armada of probe minions laying waste to a premature zerg growth. Game six. What can I say, lings again. I hoped Beater would've shown more showmanship! But what game six lacked in showmanship, Beater certainly made up for in game seven. The TvP from Beater was mind-blowing. We all know Pink is a very formidable opponent, his Protoss being one of the best in the team. This didn't seem to have even a remote effect on Beater. Beater started out the game with an expansion, and another, and another, and another. Within minutes half the map belonged to Beater, and he still managed to swat away whole armies of incoming Protoss troops. This game is a must-see.
All round, not a bad series. A couple lackluster rush-fests but definitely worth the few awesome games you'll find in there. And the results:
So again Beater defends his title as King with a confident 5-2 finish. Will this never end? Maybe next week? Time will tell. Either way, make sure you vote for the next challenger wisely! Replay package: beater_vs_pink.rar (423.74 kb) Good luck to next week's challenger! prOxi.HydrogueonWednesday 09 July 2008 - 20:25:50 Read/Post Comment: 5
Proxiteam feeds are back! I was recently wondering why Proxiteam.net didn't have a news feed. I distinctly remembered we had a news feed before we moved to new hosting! Then I remembered just recently that the feeds actually operate via a plugin for our website system. So I activated it. Now we have feeds. What does that mean for you visitors? Well, take a look. If you've got Vista (with sidebar), this is probably the most exciting thing about feeds. News headlines, straight to your desktop. Many of you might know this, as feeds are not exactly new anymore. But for those who are new to feeds, welcome see headlines on your desktop as they appear
click them to read the news without visiting the website (no this is not an excuse to neglect the forums! LOL If you want to benefit using Vista's sidebar, you'll need to subscribe to the feed using internet explorer (it adds it to Windows' global feeds collection). You can then configure your feeds gadget in the sidebar to retrieve the proxiteam feed! Hopefully this is of some use to our members. Also, those who don't have vista, you can still benefit from these feeds by using the various other feed reading software packages out there!prOxi.HydrogueonTuesday 08 July 2008 - 23:25:45 Read/Post Comment: 4
Clan War - prOxi vs Xtreme We recently duked it out in a spontaneous friendly clan war against team Xtreme. With the few we had, and the few they had, a skirmish was held for a very close clan war that turned out favourable for proxiteam. Though it came down to the 2v2 to seal the deal.

Well done Proxiteam on managing to squeeze in the nail-bintingly close 3-2 (6-6!) win against Xtreme. It's been quite a while since our last friendly clan war so it's excellent to have got a win from it. Well done everybody and thanks to X-LoSt for gathering some players so quickly.prOxi.HydrogueonTuesday 08 July 2008 - 22:57:42 Read/Post Comment: 6
