So I'm feeling pretty good right now, as almost anyone could assume why, I am sure. Over the past few months, Daniel 'Ratfink' Chambers and myself have been coding fairly tirelessly over many weekends to get a new version of proxiteam.net out into the wild!

I know, awesome right? So we've got a bit of a new layout for you guys. Now when you log in the first thing you will want to give your attention to is the left navigation panel. This is a preview of the forums which shows the latest threads to have been posted in.

On the right hand side, you will see a small snapshot of our team's roster. If you're not on it yet, and you think you should be, don't worry, I will get to you soon. If after awhile I've still not added you, send me an email or IM me.

I'm not really sure what else to say except that I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think a bunch of awesome gamers were going to make use of it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is super excited about the recent release of StarCraft 2 and this new website should be enough to get everyone revved up for some serious gaming.

If you haven't added me yet on battle.net, please do! And for our American members, I look forward to adding you on the US server when us Aussies are finally allowed over there.

Remember, this website is a brand, new-born baby. Occasionally you might experience an error of some sort, but don't worry, we'll continue to work on it to make it kick as much arse as we possibly can and hope to be error free as soon as possible!

And with that, En'Taro Adun!

Glad you like it. If you see any bugs or have any suggestions, let us know. I've got some bugfixes I'm working on right now, so we should be rolling them out soon (specifically new thread and conversation being rooted).

I'm glad you like it :) The actual BBCode rendering was the most difficult part (especially since I wanted it to generate valid XHTML; most people don't bother). The Live preview was actually fairly easy in comparison.

You're probably best off buying a new one, there's rarely much you can do to upgrade a laptop to the point where it runs a game nicely that it couldn't run before. You can upgrade RAM and that's about it. Being a laptop, the graphics card is probably where your problem is.
