Heart of the Swarm is out in SEA, and if I'm correct, is only hours away from release in the US. As promised in the most recent news, there has been a clean-up of the roster. Currently there are 7 members in our roster. If you've been removed as a result of the roster clean-up and believe you shouldn't have been removed, please add yourself to the applicant list and you should find yourself in the roster fairly quickly if indeed you were an active member in the past and intend to be active for HotS.

One thing you might notice is that we still have the applicant system even though the last news item clearly stated it would be removed. I instead would like see how we go with the applications system being monitored regularly by somebody who specifically holds that responsibility (more on that in another news post).

Another thing worth mentioning is that you get a free name change in Heart of the Swarm. Do not include prOxi in your new name. It is not necessary. There is now a clan system built into Battle.net and so your clan tag is automatically prefixed on your gamer tag. You need to be invited to the clan on Battle.net in order to have the clan tag, so don't panic if you can't find a way to join voluntarily, someone of authority will need to be online to invite you personally, which at the moment is Waesnok or myself.

I look forward to getting my teeth stuck into Heart of the Swarm with all of you. Personally I can't wait to get into the campaign, and after that, some serious laddering of old.

My internet has been pretty shit lately (even shittier than usual) so I won't expect to be online much during the start of HOTS or any game for that matter. I am planning on getting a new ISP soon, once that is sorted I should be back online much more. If my new internet is good enough I might try and play competitively again.

Oh, and by the way. The launch events for HotS are still going (Australia's is finished obviously, but there are vods on Twitch).

I'm currently watching this one:

Sounds like a good plan mate. Do you know which ISP you'll be changing to? I highly recommend TPG. I was using them at my previous place (I now live in a blackspot where I can only get wireless -_-). TPG were fast (you'll like that) and cheap (your parents will like that).

I'm going with Internode. I actually managed to get a cheaper deal with more internet quota than the Optus deal. Just goes to show what a joke Optus is. Also I've heard other people having bad internet with TPG so I steered clear of them.

Bring your friends over and convince them to use your landline phone to call someone they know. Laugh 'til it hurts. Then eat a raisin.
