So am I the only one who has finished it? I'm kind of disappoint with the difficulty level, but I did play it on hard cause I wanted to finish asap.

Thoughts on the end? Pretty lameo ending, not unexpected, but I totes wanted to see some porn

Just finished it then - loved it! Will go back and do on Brutal at some point, but yeah, I wanted a balance of fun/tough gaming along with the story, rather than get pissed off that I suck so much. The early-mid campaign was tougher than the later missions I thought, probably due to sweet unit ups and Kerrigan being awesome.

Legacy of the Void gogo ;) haha, but I will play some games with you guys soon!

I finished it on brutal last night. I thought it was fantastic. I actually enjoyed the HotS campaign more than WoL. The cinematic were so boss! Kerrigan v Narud was the best cinematic imo. StarCraft is gonna be strange without Mengsk as the main bad guy now! Glad he's gone though. The Terran race will be a lot more interesting now that their dictator is gone!

God yeah that cinematic vs Narud was insane. All the cinematics were great, but I mean it's Blizzard, so that's to be expected.

Honestly I feel like Heart of the Swarm just made the Wings of Liberty campaign like 200 times better. Like all the stuff I wtfed at in that campaign make more sense now and the whole feel thing like a story I can get ahold of and feel, like original Starcraft. I liked the Wings of Liberty campaign alot but this one seemed better in almost every way.

I loved every Kerrigan-Raynor moment.

As for the difficulty level: played it all on Brutal and only had significant trouble with one mission so I'd definitely say it didn't feel that tough - I had loads more trouble with Wings of Liberty's campaign - but I was thankful for that because it meant I didn't have a ton of time between getting to find out the next parts of the story nomsain.

All that said, though, if the Protoss actually killed Zeratul, I'm disowning those motherfuckers. You can't understand just how bummed I was when he was telling Kerrigan she'd never see him again.

Don't be sad, friend. I am quite sure Zeratul will turn out to be wrong on that one.

Hope so. Fenix was too cool to die ... and they killed him. Tassadar was too cool to die ... and they killed him (albeit in maybe the most epic ending of any game ever). So I'm not too sure how comfortable I feel with them not killing off Zeratul.

En Taro Tassadar, Maareek. You are getting me nostalgic.

While I don't want zeratul to get killed off, I wouldn't mind them spicing up the storyline a bit. Its pretty standard so far, and it seems like its meant to appeal to everyone.... That said I feel like a few characters are going to be killed off, but hopefully we have an epic ending, and a setup for a future sc3 maybe? Completely cutting off the story with a total ending, would be like pulling a dragonball z and having more ludicrous villains each incarnation imo. I guess what matters though is if they intend to follow the storyline further. BW left a lot of unanswered questions, which was the best part about the story.
