Doubt I will make it past first round, my lack of current practise is going to be quite detrimental, oh well, always worth trying out, might practise heavily tonight

Really needed more practise.... Was a TvZ which is my strongest match up, unfortunately my macro was WOEFUL, should have just all-ined.

Opened 1rax, 1fact into expansion and then double starport with techlab. Zerg fast expanded, and tried to roach push, lets just say Banshee is pretty much a direct counter. So I held him off and then pressured his front. Killed a couple of queens and roasted his lings (blueflame hellion, marine and banshee push). He didnt expand for a long time, but my macro was terrible, couldn't pressure because my army was to frail. Transitioned into biomech, but once again macro slipped badly, had about 1200minerals and 800gas (considerably more thors). So zerg pushed, I nearly held, but he reinforced, and I lost.

Overall I know I was better than him. His production timings were terrible, and he never got enough mutas to cause me too much panic, but he was good at control, so managed to do some damage. New keyboard really hindered my control and production as well, but nonetheless, it was a fair win to him, and pretty poor execution of a build that would have crushed him easily if I had macroed better.

How did you go mate?

Australia Rostered Member for Proxiteam March 16 2011 19:59Posts: 1000

Anyone playing tonight? I'm in bracket D, and haven't had time to practise, yet again, so I doubt I will get far, esp because of the state of my TvT lol
Australia March 23 2011 02:09Posts: 305

I just lost in the Grand Finals of the SEASL Bracket C. series was tied 1-1 in a bo3 and I was pooped. Long story short, the last game was an absolute disaster resulting in a failed cheese. Unfortunately I did not qualify for Code S because only the people that win the brackets qualify (FUUUUUUUUU! T.T!!!). I feel like cutting myself...

I didn't end up playing, my best mate left for Japan last night, so I let the tourny slide to see him. ended up getting home an hour after it started so I just played dragon age 2 lol. How did you go echoes?

Unlucky fight, you did well to get as far as you did though :)
Australia March 23 2011 17:52Posts: 225
that's why I stopped 1v1ing, you can beat a hundred people, but lose 1 game and you feel like cutting yourself
TLDR
