Don't know if this is an easy fix but ;

If you're starting to write up a message and close the window/tab, there should be a warning telling you you're about to close the page, with <Yes> <No> (to stay on page or close page) option type of thing.

Mainly thinking about long newsposts in the future.

That's pretty easy to do. Good idea.

What, you don't like time travel? "Welcome to the world of tomorrow!"

On a more serious note, it's likely caused by the database rounding up the post created time values (it stores them to the nearest minute (smalldatetime), in hindsight not a great idea. I might change that at some point), so for a few seconds the "now time" is less than the time recorded for your post, hence you getting "In the future".

I'm in agreement with Dwain - I get a big grin every time I make a post, return to the index and see I made it in the future.

Alright, another wish! Any time somebody makes a really long post, we should have the forum activate a file of Dwain saying "Cool story, bro!"

Edit: And I got "in the future" post time after I posted this. Score. Serious suggestion: could we get a way to jump to subsequent pages (or at least the last page) of a thread from the index? Or is there one and I just suck at life?

Yeah that shits me up the wall too. Need to rewrite the paging controls. Functionality that jumps you to the first unread post is something I want to do too.

If you guys can do this, you are my heroes :

Some sort of indicator next to our name (team roster) saying that we're online on battle net / looking for games etc. Either some sort of auto-detect via battle net or some option that we can click in our profile, or front page (for easier access) to enable the <online on battle.net> status.

Kind of like the little Skype icon that appears on my bnet friends list / facebook.

I like the idea of having, underneath the 'Team Roster' on the right, also another list of members underneath who have registered interest in being recruited. Anyone not like that idea?

Sounds totally fine for me. Called 'Team Trailists' or something similar.

Umm it would be cool if instead of having to click next in a thread to get to the last page, it loaded to the last one, or it had a linkable page count, or even first last... Cheers :)

I won't be copying your post into the OP because I believe Maareek's request fulfills this purpose.

Just a simple suggestion for the website.
Can we have a mini-chat on the website, separate from the forums. Purely just so no one will be flooding the forums with small-talk and we can socialise a bit easier.
phpBB have code available for use, I haven't really searched for any others, but I can.

Example is on the following website... Except it's really shit: http://www.ats-warzone.com/
I pwn n00bz, and pros too.

I would really like to see a place where we can put replays of our games and upload other peoples games from prOxiteam so that we could learn a little better and offer tips on games we didn't get a chance to watch. :)

We need a shoutbox. It's great for sharing those small ramblings that are not thread-worthy, as well as serving as a good way to get people's attention (for example: "CLAN WAR TONIGHT AT 9 BE THERE")

Exactly what i came here so suggest :). I think have a place for replays and stuff to upload your own replays or download others to watch. It really can help with players that are learning, or people just wanting to show a GG.

The biggest issue is server storage space right Dwain? Same with the image hosting...all requires money. We COULD introduce a member fee? I mean, do we really want pteam members who can't afford $10 a year? That being said, I probably wouldn't have joined if there was a membership fee.
Yeah, bad idea. You COULD start offering mini-rewards for donating though, like coloured forum names or something similar, small but cool. Or we could just sell some damned T-shirts! lol

Well in that case i don't see anywhere to make a donation either Lol. But once i actually make the team i will get a shirt :P
